As you have noticed, things look pretty different around here. The new wallet and fundraiser features are now available inside your parent and coordinator accounts. Wondering how they work? Dive deep into this parent friendly tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents Guide<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The new wallet and fundraiser features are now available inside your parent accounts! The Fundraiser button (shown below) directs you to the Fundraising Report Page for your students school. If there are active fundraisers within the school a list will be provided for each active fundraiser item with an option to view the leader board. Fundraiser items are purchased normally by clicking the Select button next to the student you want to shop for. When your school enables the ‘Wallet’, you will see this button displayed to the right (shown below) with the other purchase icons. Please, contact your school pertaining to questions or concerns with wallet and fundraiser items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t see what you’re looking for? Contact your school and\/or organization (i.e. PTA, Booster Club) directly for more information. Unsure who to reach out to about questions or concerns regarding a specific item? Click the ‘?’ in the upper right hand corner of the item in question – this will allow you to email the person who posted the item for sale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fundraising <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Parent Web View. No Active Fundraisers. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

By clicking the orange ‘Fundraise’ button, you will be directed to the Fundraising Report Page. If there are no active fundraisers available, your page will look like the image above. When there are active fundraisers, you will see a list of fundraising items and a ‘Leader Board’ button (shown below). The leader board icon will then provide a list of the top 20 students within the specific fundraiser. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each ‘Leader Board’ icon will provide a list of the top 20 students. The top raising student within each fundraiser will appear in the box shown below. This is an awesome way to check on where your child stands compared to others in their school who are raising money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Active Wallet Tutorial <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The wallet works similar to a prepaid card. You can ‘deposit’ a certain amount on to your students wallet and they can use it to make purchases on items. Purchases made utilizing the wallet are at the discretion of the school. For example, your school may set up sporting events\/concession items available for purchase via the wallet. If so, then your student can provide the QR code (shown below) to purchase said items. The QR codes can be used in two ways. First, the QR code can be printed out. Second, older children with smart phones can download the free P4SS mobile app, login with the parent account credentials, and have the QR code scanned by a school official in charge of the account. Don’t worry about sharing your login credentials, without a credit card your child(ren) can only purchase school approved items via the wallet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parent Web View. Active Wallet with Unique Student QR Code.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Loading money onto the wallet is simple, click ‘add money’ and complete the prompts. You will be asked to enter your card information and the amount you wish to deposit. Your school or organization will determine the maximum amount of funds allotted in the wallet. Contact them directly if you are unsure how much is allowed. Remember, if you have more than one child, each student will have their OWN wallet and unique QR code. Loading money onto one child’s wallet does not provide access to funds by your other children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parent Web View. Wallet Notification Limit.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

You have the ability to enable notifications within the wallet. Select the ‘edit’ button below the QR code and enter the dollar amount you want. Once the wallet balance has reaches the desired amount (or below) you selected the system will send you an email (or a push notification on the mobile app). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parent Web View. Add Money to Wallet.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When adding money to the wallet, keep in mind that fees may be passed on to you or absorbed by the school. For example, if you deposit $100 on to the wallet and notice the total charge of $103.25 then your school has passed fees to the parents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
