Ahhh, Fall. Cool, crisp air, apple picking, pumpkin carving, and – of course – Halloween! Join us over\u00a0the next few weeks as Pay4SchoolStuff.com is going to share with you our favorite Halloween tips\u00a0and tricks!<\/p>\n

For the most part, Halloween is an equal opportunity holiday. It\u2019s one that isn\u2019t (technically) religious,\u00a0and thus just about every child in America gets to participate together. While it\u2019s a fun day for children\u00a0with costumes and candy aplenty – it can definitely cause a bit of stress for the parents and\u00a0teachers who are tasked with keeping them safe.<\/p>\n

In some communities, Halloween is actually a regulated event<\/a>. There are curfews designed to keep\u00a0children safe (and, surely, to limit intrusions on residents who don\u2019t want to be up late handing out\u00a0candy), rules about wearing masks, and even age restrictions on who is allowed to trick-or-treat! And\u00a0most communities observe some sort of \u201cHalloween back-up plan,\u201d dictating that trick-or-treating\u00a0will be held on a different date in case of inclement weather or – in some cases – if the day of revelry\u00a0should fall on a Sunday.<\/p>\n

Halloween also poses a bit of a conundrum in schools. In recent years schools have placed\u00a0restrictions on the types of costumes that are able to be worn, typically asking that all students refrain\u00a0from wearing masks to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff. And, of course, to keep\u00a0sightlines free so that the students can do a bit of learning between their candy-eating!<\/p>\n

If your parent-teacher group has decided to get involved in the Halloween spirit and to host an event\u00a0for the community, there are nearly endless possibilities!
