Use Images to Create a Virtual Catalog
Do you have images for the items you have posted for sale? If so, don’t forget to incorporate these in your item description by using the custom description option! Create a virtual catalog for your parents and staff to browse. This can be accomplished with a few simple steps located inside the ‘Custom Description’ box. First, check the box located next to ‘Custom Description’ to enable all of the options. Second, click the icon that looks like a computer with a green + sign located in the second row of icons. Last, click the third option ‘Upload’ to browse your computer and embed the image!
Provide Information for Your Buyers
When posting physical items for sale such as apparel or yearbooks be sure to provide all relevant information in the custom description box. It is important to make your buyers aware that Pay4SchoolStuff does NOT handle the fulfillment of any item(s) purchased through our website. Here are some examples of questions we recommend addressing. How will these items be distributed? Let them know if purchases will be shipped to their home or made available for pickup at another location. When can they expect to receive these items? Provide an exact date for pickup and/or delivery. If you do not have an exact date, provide an estimated time frame these items should arrive. Lastly, give your buyers contact information if they have more questions such as the name of the person running the sale along with a valid email address or phone number.
