This is the third and final part of our New Year’s Resolution for Organizations series! If you missed parts one and two check them out here and here.
Resolution Number Three: Get Organized
Once you’ve snagged a bunch of new and enthusiastic new members, and kicked your fundraising game into high gear, there’s only one thing left to do – organize it!
One of the biggest hurdles that small groups face is trying to wrangle all of the paperwork that comes with running the show. After all, you’ve got membership forms to file, donor receipts to send out, and trips to the bank to deposit all of those dues (and hopefully donations).
As you’re sitting and staring at your newest mountain of paperwork (and let’s be honest – you’ve got enough on your plate between work and home, adding volunteer paperwork to it is just brutal!) keep in mind that there’s another way! Collecting paperwork just means that – at some point – you’ve got to enter it all into an electronic system, whether it’s Excel or another database, at some point anyway. With Pay4SchoolStuff.com it’s all in there – ready for you to run a report on it at the click of a button.
And new members means more dues and donations – which is fantastic. Until you’re the one responsible for carrying all of that cash to the bank. We’ve made it easy – collect payments electronically (via debit or credit card) and we’ll deposit the funds for you with automatic, secure, electronic delivery.
But perhaps one of the biggest benefits of Pay4SchoolStuff.com is our reporting systems. You can run reports on your membership (rosters and dues), orders, sign-up sheets, and anything else that you’ve entered into the system. You can view them right within the console, or export them into an Excel file. No more manually keeping ledgers and records on paper. And by keeping your records electronically you can sort it automatically by any number of categories – parent’s name, student’s name, date, order item, amount, etc.
