Crafts are always a fun thing for kids to do of all ages and there is no one right way to do them! Younger children love messing in paint, glue, and glitter. Take a walk or hike with your littles and search for cool and interesting shaped and colored leaves that have fallen off the trees. As well as some pinecones and small twigs. You can make SO many things with just these three items found in nature. Older children can also still do crafts, and ENJOY it! Teach them some basic essentials of life by learning to sew a small Fall themed decorative pillow. Maybe even a DIY Fall themed wreath they can create. Check out these really neat craft ideas that kids, and adults, can enjoy making!

I have never met one person in my life who doesn’t enjoy taking a trip to go find that “Perfect” pumpkin! Most pumpkin patches also have an apple orchard. If your local pumpkin patch offers an apple orchard, go have some fun picking your own apples of multiple varieties and tastes. Apples can be incorporated in to so many different recipes. Apple pie, caramel apples, apple crisp/crumble, apple cider, and MORE! Enjoy all of the thrills alongside the patch and orchards. Most have corn mazes, hayrides, animals you can feed, and farm based playgrounds. We all know the slide that’s made with the large tubing that’s bumpy and hurts your booty when your done, but keep doing it again and again! Pumpkin patches are also very well known to be great family photo spots! Dress the family in a plain neutral color with some jeans out in the middle of a pumpkin patch with a sunset and you have an outstanding picture to share with all of your loved ones.

PIE!!! All that needs said, am I right!? This is a new thing floating around called the ‘Pie Bar’. There are two ways you can have this set up.
- Making this an interactive pie get together where you purchase several empty pie crusts, or make your own. Have multiple different pie fillings and flavors, as well as different types of whipped cream and toppings. Then you can make your own pie creation, or keep it traditional and to your favorite flavor, cook, and share! Maybe allowing a new creation to unravel 😉
- You can host a get together at your home where each guest/family brings in there favorite flavor of pie (It may be a good idea to have everyone write down the flavor they plan on bringing so you don’t end up with 5 apple pies! Then again who doesn’t love apple pie!) Then you display these masters of culinary goodness out in a buffet style and let everyone enjoy the wonderful pie culture others have shared!
