Attention Administrators
We are constantly working on ways to improve your experience with P4SS. To help reduce the number of duplicate items purchased throughout each school we designed a new feature. A reduction in the number of duplicate purchases means a reduction in the number of refunds! What better way to save valuable time and money? This feature is easy to enable with just a couple of clicks.
The Duplicate Purchase Feature
This feature can be located under the Edit Account option when logged into your account. Adjust the calendar dates to reflect the beginning and end of your school year, respectively. In order to get the most use from this function make sure you are flexible with you To and From dates. For example, if the first day of school begins August 1 and parents have the option to purchase items (membership fees, class registrations, etc) prior to the start of school, then the From date should be adjusted back to the first purchase date.
We know each school year will likely have similar items available for purchase. With this in mind, we have incorporated a way to reflect these yearly changes. At the start of each year, simply update your calendar settings to reflect the current school year timeline. The system will exclude previous purchases made outside of the designated calendar parameters. Parents are alerted at checkout after they have attempted to purchase an item again, once the calendar is set in place. The alert will also appear when the item is in the cart multiple times. This gives parents the ability to review their cart and/or transaction history before proceeding to checkout.
